Hangar Theatre Welcomes Families to
The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe

November 18, 2008 (ITHACA, NY) – Just in time for the holidays, the Hangar Theatre invites families to attend the public performance of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at Ithaca High School’s Kulp Auditorium on Saturday, December 13 at 2 pm.

The classic book for children by C.S. Lewis and adapted by le Clanché du Rand is brought to life in this play for young people.  The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe follows Peter and Lucy as they act out their story, sharing the magical adventure that begins by stepping through a wardrobe and ends with a fierce battle for freedom in the land of Narnia. This is a very special winter tale of wonder that celebrates the power of children’s imagination and courage.

Tickets are $5, including a $1 Ticket Center fee, and may be purchased in advance by calling (607) 273-4497 and by visiting the Ticket Center at Clinton House at 116 North Cayuga St. Tickets may also be  purchased at the door before the performance.  The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe tours through local schools this winter and is sponsored by C.S.P. Management.
