Straight Talk about new plays: Working with a living playwright is a valuable tool in today’s business. Originating a role with the writer in the room will be an invigorating challenge for the actor; directing and designing the new play builds new muscles for the young theatre artist. Several Wedge playwrights have returned to the Hangar as mainstage or school tour playwrights. We look forward to meeting the writers of tomorrow in the lab company. Back
